New to smartphone. On a Storm 2 with BES using VZW, when I didn't answer an incoming call, I received a text message. Is there a way to not get a text message? Is this something my BB admin at work must do?

I dont think there is a way to turn that off its a vzw thing

No, I never get charged for a text from a missed call.

Go to the phone screen. Press Menu, Options, Call Logging. I think if you select None, you won't get those text messages any more.

you can go to options===> Security Options===> and Firewall... you have the option to block incoming SMS, or you can except messages from contacts or specific addresses. I don't know if this can really help your particular situation ...
