I have an unactivated, jailbroken, unlocked iPhone (as well as a JB'd iPod Touch). That means no service with a carrier, but it's basically an iPod Touch with bluetooth. I much prefer websurfing with the Touch over the BB (screen size, Safari vs BB/Opera/Bold, synchronised bookmarks, etc) and there's no WiFi at work.
So, is there a way to tether the iPhone to the BB Pearl? I do have PdaNet and Modem apps installed on the iPhone. I'm with Bell Mobility, who tend to disable a lot of functionality on their cellphones.
I guess the first thing to do would be to see if the BB and iPhone can even pair.
Thanks for any thoughts on this, but please, no iPhone slamming!
