Hi all, got a question about Internet speed and tethering. im using a bb 8320 as a modem for my laptop i found some tips in here on how to speed up the Internet i got it up to 921.6 kbps but it still feels slow. i was wondering if the bb bold with its g3 would be faster. your thoughts? p.s i dont have wifi the bb is the only thing i have for the web now. tethering bb 8320 vs bb bold

I haven't used the 8320, however, I did tether with an 8310 and now have the 9700. The 9700 is faster. I can't tell you specificly the speed but I have an aircard in the netbook that I also tether on and the speed is about the same using either one.

Yeah, the Bold using 3G will be way faster than the Curve running EDGE... You should notice a big difference.

Thanks, i should note im useing the tmobil internet not wifi

yeah, like elvin said - the bold has 3g, that'll make a huge difference
