OK I have learned my lesson and I am ready to throw the Blackjack in the trash!. I have called ATT and requested that they send me a call tag to send the Blackjack back. It sucked big time. My question is do I buy another Curve which I loved our try a 8800 or 8830. I do not need a camera. Any comments would be appreciated.

I think what you have to ask yourself is this, do I like the keypad on the 8800 or the 8300. Based on that answer, well, you get my point...

All I have handled is the 8300. I am going to go back to my Slvr until I can make the right choice this time, but it will be a Blackberry! The 8820 has peaked my interest though. Any comments on the 8820.

As for the 8820, search I think we have some info on it

I have never used a 8300, but I have used an 8830. The keyboard on the 8300 looks better than the 8800, less cramped. If the cam doesn't matter that is the biggest difference.

    Tmiller,

People can advise you on what they feel would be best but everyone has their own personal reasons for loving their device. I would suggest that you visit an AT&T/Cingular store and play with different BB models and see what strikes your fancy. Having the BB in your hand and testing different models out, along with keeping in mind what people have posted here in the forum about that particular model, should make your choice an easier one.

Whichever model you end up with, you know that you are going to be happy.........why........because as you know, owning a blackberry is priceless.

I have had an AT&T Curve for about two months and I love it. I am a big guy with large fingers and have had no problems with the keyboard. I would try one out. It is so much easier to operate than my wifes Pearl.

I moved from the 8800 to a Curve and the only reason is because of the camera. I dont use the GPS as i have a stand alone Sat Nav.

However, should i not have wanted the camera, i would have stuck with the 8800.

In my opinion it is better made, and looks nicer. Whilst i love my Curve, i have pretty much lost all of the rubber coating on the top of the unit through wear.
