Im currently under contract with at&t and want a different BB, but dont want the large price At&t charges. I noticed t-mobile has BBs with no contract for $50.00, opposed to $300 through At&t with no contract. Im wondering if my At&t sim card will work in a t-mobile blackberry. has anyone tried this?

You will need to unlock the new BB (lots of posts about that so search) and then it will allow you to use other sims than the provider's. One thing to know is that att and tmo use differnt 3G bands so you will not be able to get 3G.

What is this about T-Mobile having $50 BlackBerry's without a contract? Any and all info would be greatly appreciated.

T-Mobiles has the 8520 in the T-Mobile Complete box. These are pre-paid phones. If you go this route, you'll need to unlock the phone for AT&T.
