I love these forums. Please excuse my ignorance... Late last year, I bought a Blackberry Pearl (T-Mobile). I love it! I use it for everything. I have purchased a lot of software from Handango. My question is: On Monday when I get the new Pearl 8120 (T-Mobile) can I use my same desktop manager (that has all my purchased software saved) to transfer the software to my new Pearl?
Or, do I have to download another desktop manager specifically for my new pearl?
If what you have is the latest one, you don't need to worry about installing another Desktop Manager for your new device. Your DM does not house your applications but is just a software used to load up those apps into your BlackBerry device.
Just make sure that once you received your new BlackBerry device, you install your 8120 handheld software into your computer. Without it, you won't be able to install your application to the new device. Another route would be to use the "Switch Device Wizard".
