Ok, I have searched and searched but have not found a solution to my problem.

My sister in-law has a storm and when she syncs through DM to Outlook see looses all her pic id photos. Does anyone have a soulution for this?

You mean the pictures associated with contacts are still there but detached from the contact info? Or the pictures are deleted and completely disappear from the phone?

The pics are still on the phone (media) but not attached to the respective contact.

The only thing which comes to mind... try a one-way sync FROM phone TO outlook, see if it still misbehaves. I have a feeling there's something a bit erratic about sync with different Outlook versions.
