I have a Verizon BB Curve 8530 but it isn't working so I am switching to a Verizon 8130 Pearl that I have. I was wondering once I activate the Pearl, is there a way to move all my contacts and apps I have on my Curve over to my Pearl easily? I am worried about my contacts because since the Pearl is older I don't feel it will have backup assistant on it like the Curve does.

Use the "switch device wizard" in BlackBerry Desktop Manager. It will move your contacts over for you and might work for your app.

If on a mac just use the backup feature then when you plug in the new device hit restore and you are all set.
