So, since I first got my Pearl 8110 from SunCom (were they the only carrier to have it besides ATT?) I have been trying to get AIM on it. I found out that you cant get it if you have SunCom, so I waited for the T-Mobile switch.

The switch came, T-Mobile never released a version of the 8110 software and I still cant get AIM. My phone says T-Mobile, and I can download AIM, but when I try to sign in it says

Service not Enabled for this handheld.

Is there any way for me to use the Official AIM client for blackberry?

Resend your service books and go to mobile.blackberry.com to download it. AIM service books are enabled for ALL carriers.

It's because T-mobile never carried the 8110. PM me your email and I'll send you the AIM service book. Are you still using a SunCom SIM card?
