    Just read the following article that purports to quote a RIM official about the atomic trackball: it isn't true; the trackball is just black.

    Word is that RIM didn't have the atomic trackballs ready for the 8900. RIM says that the 8900 has a "trackball located on front face of device, ESC key to the right, Menu to the left." Nothing about it being atomic. We can possibly look to see something at WES 2009.

    I'm pretty sure it has lasers instead of rollers for navigation purposes. Someone corect me if I'm wrong.

    It functions as a trackball and can split the atom.

    That's funny....every time I click mine several times in rapid succession, my girlfriend's eyes fly open at atomic speed and glare at me with the heat of a reactor meltdown (of course phenomena occurs only between the hours of 1 an 6 am).
