    Is there any way I can set the Blackberry Curve to automatically go into Standby-Mode after a certain time (say, 1 Minute for example)??

    I haven't seen the option for it. The lock yes. Maybe 3rd party software.

    Only option that I can think of is to keep it in the Holster.

    Yep holster is the only way to go unless you carry around a magnet
