But what is an affordable yet kick@$$ upgrade? I have no clue what I should aim for. I want a Bold but if I ever saved up that much money I would end up using all of it to pay off bills haha.

So basically I want something affordable, great, better than the 8700c (that shouldn't take much) and durable. I also want it to have wifi.

I'm guessing the curve is the closest thing to the bold I'm going to get but help!

    Any suggestions?

    (Please don't say storm)

You can find a used unlocked Bold for 350-450 bucks. If you're not looking to spend that much the 83XX series cannot be beat.

I see in your signature that you have the 8900. What is better about the curve 8900 than the 83xx?

Everything except battery life. The screen, speed, keyboard, media etc all vastly improved over the 83XX series Blackberries and it's still a very reliable device. Its a joke between 8900 owners thats it's so flawless its kinda boring to own.

There's one selling on CB for 500 right now. Brand new and locked to T-Mo roughly 450 full retail price.
