    So today I was talking to a supplier of mine.

    He works for a very large company in the UK. Without saying too much they distribute a directory that is Yellow in colour and has lots of Pages. I understand that in other countries you have your own versions that may be Golden or White rather than Yellow. Either way, they plonk books through loads of doors and have a large internet business too called, oooh, I dunno, erm Yell - the UK's local business search engine or something like that.

    Earlier this year they took his BlackBerry away and gave him an iPhone.

    He doesn't want apps.

    He wants what he had before.

    A mobile cellphone that does as it was originally invented to do - make reliable phone calls, which he isn't getting now.

    He wants to attach files to emails from his phone. He can't do it anymore.

    And when I told him about BB10 and Remote File Access he nearly crashed the car. He REALLY needs this.

    He is REALLY hacked off with his company for going trendy iPhone and wants a proper business phone back again - and he started on BB07!

    Why the hell did BlackBerry marketing let this happen?

    But, more importantly, I don't want to be him! I don't want to settle for some second rate communications device because it's 'trendy'. I want to make calls, send messages via various methods without hinder and then, only then, might I play a few games afterwards.

    I DON'T WANT TO BE STUCK WITH THEM AND THEIR BASIC INFERIOR PRODUCTS

    So please BlackBerry/Thor/Prem/whoever....

    Can someone get their act together quick?

    You kinda said it all in the OP. You don't want to be stuck with what you call an inferior product. I always tell people buy the device that suits your needs. That's why I have a Z10/Q10 and my little brother has an iPhone 5.
