No...totally not fair, but maybe they are trying to add more dazzle for the other platforms for an added wow factor to boost the BlackBerry name...?

You know most the people downloading are ex BB users anyway.

They miss our little secret which is BBM.

I'm on the current official AT&T OS (10.1.0.4633) and I have Ping. So I assume the OP is going to withdraw that complaint? Many people would like to have broadcast removed completely but, it is true there are no emoticons in broadcast for my version.

Yes you're right it's there, but its useless for BB10 users because it doesn't vibrate when receiving PING!!!
And no different sound anymore!

You may just have to enable "vibrate" under Notificiations > BBM. It's off by default.

Ha you guys are weird I have ping from day one. I just tested it and it vibrates when I have the phone set to vibrate. When the phone is set to loud it vibrates too. If I set the sound profile to that.

It vibrates when the mode is (Only vibration) and it vibrate at all even with normal message

There was a notification setting for PING only which allow the device vibrate even with silent mode

You can let the BBM vibrate for every single message, but that will make the PING useless
