so my old ipod head phones decided to fall apart today literally, and i lost all my bb headphones a while ago, so my question is blackberry gonna have redesigned headphones for the new bb10 phones? i think it would be shame to have the same headphones we have now (idk if bb7 phones came with new headphones, im using a 9650 so i got the regular mic headphones) If were getting a completely new handset might as well get completely new headphones

So did I. OP, I'm hoping they give us some newly designed earphones for BB10 with all the media functions. There was a leaked 'BB10 accessories' link posted recently which didn't say anything about the earphones though.
I bought some BB premium & BB deluxe earphones that are a lot better than the standard ones I got with my 9900. Something to think about if we don't see new ones.

BB standard earphones are terrible. Let's hope they give us some quality earphones to go with the sexy BB10's
