After IOS7 slaughtered my iPad, I got a Samsung Galaxy Note Pro.
It has a lot of very cool features, but honestly it is somewhat buggy (crazy lag on that thing) and it was really best when paired with my Note 3 phone, which of course the Kitkat update promptly destroyed.

So I have my Q10 which I love.
I have my Note Pro which I like, but knowing Android, I know full well that their next update, which will be forced on me like it was with the Note 3, will cripple my tablet.

And the Playbook has been discontinued.

So when I have to bury my Note Pro, I'm not sure what to get.
I need something fast, with a lot of memory (64 GB), decent battery life, LTE connected, reliable.

Which tablet do you have, do you like it, and why? What do you use it for?

Funnily enough, that's probably why I still have my PlayBook and haven't replaced it. It's all I really use it for (plus work presentations where it actually is still rather good).

    Hmmmm.

    Apple, really? *cries*
I've been trying to get away from Apple since the IOS7 snafu. I still have an Itouch for the apps that I need that aren't on BB but iPad seriously let me down when I was in school, which is why I switched.

    *sigh*

I'm not sure which iPad you refer to but just wanted to let you know that I have the iPad 3 and was seriously considering an upgrade when ios7 came out, thought it couldn't handle it but then the further updates made it much much better in terms of lag. Battery life feels maybe it's getting a bit older now but still good enough, just wish it charged a bit faster

After my PlayBook became too slow, I got an Asus VivoTab, an 8" Windows tablet with pen support. It runs full Windows 8.1 and has an SD card slot, so memory is not an issue. I use it primarily for work; usually with my Q10's mobile hotspot (faster than any wifi, even at home!). The pen is awesome - I can receive a pdf document to sign, so instead of printing it out, signing, scanning it in and sending it, I just display it on the screen and sign it with the pen. It's a hard tip pen, so feels just like a real one.

Other than that - it's Windows, like it or don't. Poor app selection, but what you get is a full computer in an 8" package. Facebook and newspaper apps work well.

I like the size and the fact that it's straight Android. It gets updates first and runs smooth.

Tried a bunch of tablets since the Playbook and not necessarily happy with any of them. Finally settled for the Galaxy Note Pro 8.4 for lack of anything better. Still rely mostly on my Z30 for surfing a lot of sites. Galaxy + Chrome browser lags a fair bit.

I made the switch to the samsung galaxy tab pro 8.4 as my wife told me that I needed something for Father's Day (was still using my playbook faithfully for bridge function and excel sheets).
After the first evening I've fallen in love with the limit Less options that I can do with it. There's a few grips with the OS, ie I want gesture navigation and not back buttons, but what can you do?

I find myself using this more than my z10 for social stuff, media and general web browsing.
It's also become a big power house for all my work when I'm nowhere near a computer for work.
