SMS more than 160 characters?

Earlier today, my Tour 9630 running v5.0.0.975 gave me a glimpse of something I've always dreamed of. I opened SMS to reply to a text, and noticed that next to my character count, there was a 1/6. It allowed me to send 6 160 character texts uninterrupted. Just now, when I opened SMS, the page count was gone. I now have to type 160, send that text, and continue my idea on a new text. Any ideas on how to get my 6 pages back?

I can't help you get 1/6 back, since I don't know how you got it the first time. I can recommend crunchSMS. It's an excellent program that I've used for years for extended texting.

Have you tries a batt pull or a reboot? Its been a while but when I had Os5 I never had it like I do with 7.1.

Could be that you have upgraded to an different OS version?
Not quite sure but you could check out sms settings? It's been a while that i have used OS5.
On OS7.1 i don't have it though but i don't mind it since i just have unlimited texts.^^
