i have a bb 7290... have set up groups, added members and still cant sms to a group, it just gives me a menu : view member, edit group, show addresses, close

any one have any ideas

How are you doing it?

I give my groups a name, then how i do it is I open messages folder, hit menu key, select compose sms then select the group name.

Perhaps your device is a little different to mine.

must be.. i am trying to set up groups for a medical facility so we can sms everyone in a particular at one time

i have set up a group called "A test group" in my address book and added two members, then i save the group and exit out to messages

click to compose sms, click on A test group and the menu comes up:
Filter
New Address
New Group
View Group
Edit Group
Delete Group
SIM Phone Book
Options
Cancel

what am i doing wrong.... this seems to work when using my 8800, i just wonder if it is a problem with older bb's
