Just to clarify- on the home screen, a smiley face w/red star is a new BB Messenger message, on your BB Messenger contact list, a smiley w/a red X means the person is unavailable.

I got the same thing on my phone today!! EXACTLY why I can on here to get that question answered. I looked in the book NOTHING and called the store they told me to come on here. I just got the phone would like to know what it is also.
