When you uninstalled it, did you do a battery pull btwn installs? Slacker works very well on my 8330/4.5.0.77. If its not for you, check out Pandora.

I personally like Pandora more. It works well, and doesnt transfer data constantly from what I can see.

no the installs were not back to back but did have to pull battery to delete. it actually deleted it from apps but left icon and i could still access it whay the ? why cant everything work like google apps do

I prefer slacker over Pandora simply because Slacker lists artists that are similar to the one you type in to create a station, then you can browse through and select all the ones you like to be your favorites on that station. Its much easier to customize your stations. But I do like the quick mix station pandora offers that slacker does not unless you subscribe. I have no trouble runinning each and I listen for several hours a day at work.:D

Pandora is the way to go IMHO. I have a better listening experience with Pandora, as Slacker always gives me issues when I received a call or message.

I also like pandora because with the only version you can get it is free.
Slacker's free version gives you annoying commercials for the product you are listening to.
There also is no long pause between songs with pandora like there is with slacker.

Pandora is better like others have stated.
I wish there was some sort of winamp shoutcast radio for the bb.
