This is so cool. Unfortunately I also bought their 8GB G1 player from the woot deal the other day. Wonder if I should return it or keep it since it works on the BB now.
It seems to go by space on the SD card available - I have a 1 gig card that was mostly full and could only cache one station, but after clearing it out a bit, I can cache five stations now.
I have a 4GB card and can cache up to 28 stations.
So am i to assume when you "cache" stations, it does not use data...I have a verizon data plan but am somewhat paranoid about verizons disdain for streaming media

You cache stations by hooking it up via USB to a computer, so it should be fine
I am having difficulty caching stations. I do not get a prompt to do so when I connect via USB... Is there another program from slacker that I need to download?
The site says you should have at least 500MB of free storage on your media card. Probably the ONLY negative.
BBB,
I have over 700MB free on one of my SD cards and I can only cache 3 stations. You're right, only negative. This only provides a valid reason to go 16GB.

If you're having issues with caching stations, check the space on your SD card.
