The "must have" app I am currently after is a secure shell program so I can remotely access my servers. Of the ones I have now, the "must have's" include Opera, Windows Live and Google Maps.
I really like Google Maps. It's way better than BB Maps. I haven't had the chance to try WorldMate yet, but it seems like it'll be extremely useful when I travel. I'd like to try JiveTalk. That would be useful too.
BBSmart email viewer because it's just too cool to not have it.

Empower HTML email reader so my emails look like they should. Opera Mini is a great mobil browser and often renders web sites better than the native BB browser. Find My Berry if I should - God forbid - misplace my BB. Viigo for the latest RSS feeds, because that's how I found Crackberry.com. Google Maps 2.0 because who likes to get lost? Microsoft Live Search is a great app for finding things locally, especially movie times.
