So this is becoming a tad annoying. The phone seems to be running fine, but I am getting this error message everyday and a battery pull is the only short fix. Any suggestions to fix it permanately?

It could most likely be a problem with the sim card itself.

I'm on WAP so I can't see who your carrier is. Perhaps just have them give you another sim card?

I would copy the card contents to my hard drive and then reformat the card (from the phone, not the PC) and then copy the contents back to the card. I had to do that to mine about a month ago. All is well ever since. To format from the card, go to options>memory and then I think it's menu button, format, sd card.

OP is talking about the SIM card, not the memory card.
