So I finally figured out the side loading thing, and was able to download some pretty good apps. Instagram works like a charm, but does anyone know where I can get more bar files from for other apps? Been to a couple of sites, just wondering if there are some popular ones

i personally used to use PlayBook .apk to .bar converter to convert apk files but now with 1925 i use snap on my device to just install apk files directly less work less hassle no need to be by a computer anymore.

If you have side loaded you really need to install 10.2.1.1925. I personally found installing it easier than side loading. After I did install .1925 I side loaded snap now I just download the app I want. Really easy and there is tons of help on here. I recommend using a windows pc instead of a mac. Tons easier in my opinion

some advice as well if you do happen to go with the leaks since you have not done so before. it takes time for the system to work out the kinks, battery may be bad for a day or 2 and after its all worked out its awesome.

I was sideloading apps for a while, using bar files from bb10bars.net and apps.goodereader.com. A lot of those apps either didn't work or ran poorly.

Downloaded 10.2.1.1925. Sideloaded Snap (which is the Google Play Store), installed 1mobile Market, and Amazon App Store. Most of the apps I downloaded from these 3 app stores run better than the ones I sideloaded before installing the leaked OS.

Just go for the .1925 leak!
    You won't regret it!

I don't know why but I feel much better about leaks than doing side loading. Much more confident about my abilities to do it correct anyway.

Yeah you should definitely install a leak. Snap I'd much better than side loading

If you are now comfortable with sideload then it is time to step up to the next level and load a leak. It is easy but time consuming

I find a lot of the side loaded apps don't work right for me. So I loaded the leak and now just download thru snap

I'd love to install the latest 1925 leak but I can't find the .exe or .7Z file to download anywhere. It's not on Mega any more or any site that was listed in mid December. Advice anyone? I have an older Win 7 PC sitting around that I can use since my primary computer is a Mac. I read that I can install the autoloader directly from a USB drive using the PC, but I first have to get my hands on the autoloader ...

I might still have the 1925 leak on an SD card. If I do, I could just email the file to you. What Blackberry device are you using?

That would be so sweet! The Z30 on Verizon ... but wouldn't that be a gargantuan file to email?

No need to email me the autoloader ... apparently it's downloading from Meg now. Thanks though!
