Please advise if there is a way to turn off this bbm shop from having a spark/ every single day even after i clear it out. No fees or subscription wanted. Getting sick of bbm because of it

I just ignore it. I don't think there's been a day when there hasn't been an asterisk next to it. If I ever see it with no asterisk, it's when I know I have no data on my phone.

I'm a consultant, and I used to ask all of my clients to install BBM as a "professional" channel for quick communication. Because of that damned spark, I'm embarrassed to do that now and have stopped. Stupid,counterproductive way to monetize BBM. Stickers are "off brand" for BlackBerry.

I'm with the OP on this! I hate the spark and I hate stickers, and I hate channels! BlackBerry has ruined the BBM interface with this crap.

Are you guys talking about the spark on Shop when you open the app? I guess I usually use hub, which only shows the spark for messages. But then a lot of clients & colleagues wouldn't have the Hub.

Honestly, I don't know what BlackBerry is thinking with the stickers. I would be surprised if they are doing well. Are there some markets where BlackBerry is cool with adolescents? The solution to alienating the business user is the choice to untick the box!

Even $10/day is better than nothing. Why should they even support BBM anymore if there's no way to monetize it. You all want the company to survive but God forbid you pay anything towards maintenance. Like getting free room and complaining being asked to chip in for groceries. Teach BlackBerry a lesson and go use whatsapp free if that's how strongly you feel about it. (hint they don't care if you leave).
