    My security wipe usually takes minutes. I started it today at 1:30pm it is now 8:50pm and it is still wiping?

    I let a Q10 sitting over 24 hours before removing the battery... it started the process of wiping again. The percentage did go faster up to 98% but stopped
    I remove the battery again and it reboot with the bb10 error 0015

    When it does that just plug it with sync and restore the OS.

    Worked for me !

    It happens. Reset phone while updating. It may start all over but often solves problem.

    I waited 3 days once... :-D

    (edit: but phone was very full, only like 4GB left on Passport..., OS reload via Link fixed it)

    Usually helps if you delete as many apps as u can before starting wipe.

    rebooting device is the ideal solution for hanging
    Or... BlackBerry could fix the bug so the phone doesn't hang.
    The base OS runs nuclear reactors for Pete's sake.

    Once wasted a week because of this. Only solution I've found is to reboot three times to brick the device then re-install the OS using Link.

    Mine was ding it for nine days and it was stuck at 99% percent for 5 days...I gave up . I connected it to BB Link software in my Pc using a usb connector., i hard reset my Passport and proceeded to do a factory Os reload. It worked.

    My passport was stuck at 98% for a day. I simply hold the power button for a few seconds and it restarted the process, this second try was only 15 minutes.

     Passport via CB10 || previous device : Q10, Z3, Z10, Storm 9530, 8520, 8530, 9000, 8320
