Don't put the stakes too high. :-)

This "Secure Android" thing is still experimental, and could severely damage the brand's security reputation...

How can you be sure it's "experimental"? There is a small chance BlackBerry has been working on this for some time and that it is tested and true.

Should have 2 separate line of phones.. 1. With pure BB10 and 2. With Android under BB10 interface...however, I'll go with option 1.

    With Z10 STL-1 10.3.2.2474

The Passport Silver was supposed to be the first Android powered device. Late turn of events changed all that.

There's already been rumblings of a android passport. I believe there was even video showing it on the silver edition..

I see them keeping bb10 for time being for the sectors that require it because android doesn't meet their security needs. But as for mass sale focus you can expect that to be with android.. if the numbers show android sells better who knows they might do the classic too..

A lot of government organizations are going with Samsung and iphone these days too, so why not capitalize on that as well before they are too late again...

I love bb10 and will miss it when I get the Venice, but I would rather there still be a BlackBerry than no BlackBerry at all

NO. The money needed to support and grow another a brand is significant. And BlackBerry does not have the capital for that.

iOS 9 was experimental a few days ago. Devices bricked, and Bluetooth issues. The real issues, weaknesses and vulnerabilities are not revealed during in-house testing, but in the wild... :-)
