I presume you are referring to the banner being clipped on mobile devices. TBH, the whole site seems to be slower than ever, at least for me. Plus I got a pop up saying that the website wanted to store 1MB of crap on my device.

It's a good thing that they have the animated banner promoting the Priv with the bb10 devices listed below. Should have been there from the day of the announcement.
But they seem to be clutching at straws to market it: "privacy by priv", "smartslide", "touch and type", "BlackBerry for all" (who can afford it). WTH?

Porsche Design devices are designed by PD - they provide the fonts, graphic design, etc. Can't blame those on BlackBerry

Thinking about it some more, where are the pictures of the F1 team with their Privs? Don't sell boring product features - sell a dream lifestyle that's currently in season.

Why? It's not our job, and we're just expressing our reactions to material which is meant to spark some reaction. Obviously people have become accustomed to some level of design quality or consistency, which speaks highly of the industry and perhaps even BlackBerry's past design teams.

Even the Buy Today button doesn't seem right on the mobile Passport page. Maybe a few extra margin-right pixels?



Also, why is the floating 'on scroll, scrollTop>0' banner thicker than the scrollTop=0 banner? I thought the whole point was to maximize the content space.

Finally, there's lots of empty scroll space (at least on the mobile version). Feels like you're kinda lost in the abyss.

Why is a company that's releasing a phone touting privacy discussing the fact that their own privacy was breached? It doesn't instill a whole lot of confidence in privacy if BB can't keep their own information confidential.

Yup.. exactly what I've been saying. It seems like whoever though of this didn't think past the first line of logic (invasion of privacy, OMG it's like priv!)

Once I get back home I'll knock something up. I'm a graphic designer and I've appreciated the work done by their design teams in the past, I've loved it. Click right now on the Passport's page and it's amazing, so I don't know where this awful new direction has come from
