It's the end of the world, guys.

Just kidding. But this is a major problem. Hopefully, there's something being done, because I feel as if most users are gonna let go of BlackBerry just for this one thing.

I can still use my Z10 bearably, but it frustrates me when I try to watch a movie, how some games are unplayable, or how I have to manually adjust my brightness, as every single sensor is down.

    Very strange.
All my sensors have stopped working today - compass, gyro, accel, mageneto, light.
    I am on 10.2.0.424 (10.2.0.1791) official on STL100-1.
Have downgraded back to this version 2 days back after trying 10.2.1.1055 for a week.
Sensors come back momentarily after reboot but then stop again.

I'm gonna keep a close eye on this thread, and hopefully, someone will know a solution to this. Because this is quite irritating.

Ditto. This is a valid issue. Did anyone download any new apps within the last two days?

I don't think that it's an app problem.

From what I'm seeing, it's an issue that has been slowly spreading out through all us BB10 users, since yesterday.

I also have issues with the sensors. Tried resetting the device multiple times now (even security wipe). Doesn't help.

This is extremely annoying. Not a single sensor is working.

So, does this mean that you can confirm not having downloaded anything to your device in the past week?

I haven't downloaded any app for the last week. And I'm sure a bunch of people will agree with me when I say that the issue came up randomly, and not as a post-effect of downloading an app.

Hi guys, sale issue here on my q5, all sensors stopped working, a reboot helps for a couple of minutes.

Same issue hit me yesterday. Q10, OS Version 10.2.0.1803 (Software Release 10.2.0.429).

A reboot fixes the problem but for a seemingly random length of time. I have seen the sensors fail within a minute of a reboot or last as long as an hour after a reboot.

I have installed BBVE (BlackBerry Virtual Expert) from BlackBerry World which allows you to run tests on various device tests. The following tests all pass initially, but fail once the sensors stop working:
    Face Up/Down Sensor
    Light Sensor
    Orientation Sensor
    Proximity Sensor

Once failed, all the test screens for these sensors display a message "x sensor not supported on this phone."

All the sensors shut down for reasons unknown. It must be a defect in the OS, not the hardware.

Hopefully, there will be an update pretty soon, because all the sensors are crucial to have on the device.

Add me to this list too. All of my sensors stopped working yesterday. Rogers told me to reinstall the os. So I figured might as well go for that leaked os and all my sensors are back. I'm afraid to reinstall that shark game though because I suspect that may be the culprit. Did anyone that IS experiencing this problem NOT install that game?

Only app I installed is Card2You. However, a restore and security wipe doesn't help.

Does this happen on the 10.2.1 versions as well?

    Edit:
Oh, and that shark game as well.
