Quote; The German government plans to buy as many as 40,000 BlackBerry 10 devices that will be enhanced with security applications from SecuSmart to meet NATO standards. "Secusmart works on other Operating Systems, but BlackBerry is the only manufacturer where secusmart works down to the core"
BlackBerry 10 with Enhanced Security Wins Hefty Order from Germany
"It's easy to make a phone secure," the spokesman said, "but it's hard to make a secure phone smart." He said that the only wireless device that makes that possible is the BlackBerry 10 device. The SecuSuite for the BlackBerry 10 includes encryption for email, secure encrypted voice and secure Internet use.Judge most Tech Articles by the comments it received, not by what the author is saying! Unstoppable in the German Government. I doubt that it would be used in the same way outside of Germany by other Governments. BlackBerry needs to team up with a strong US partner/contractor for a similar solution for the US government. General Dynamics and Samsung are working on a solution that will allow the processing of classified information on a Galaxy phone with the blessing of the NSA. Won't be available till 2nd half of 2013. BlackBerry needs to work on this fast!
