I really can't put a usage time on the Blackberry. It's my sons Christmas present and given to him early he's always on it. Not so much talk/texting but on this site on others spending hours and hours.
None of this is bad because he's put all his responsibilities his home work, his helping mom and sisters all his responsibilities first. I think he wants to be treated like an adult and allowed to play with this Blackberry like one and not be stopped.
Why would I limit his interest in this device? Somehow it's turned him into a much better son. Hes changed for for the good and it changed when he got his Blackberry.

My whole business day is stored on mt Crackberry. Emails, contacts, schedules.

    Plus it's my 'offie' phone.

My Crackberry and I are attached at the hip

Too much is when I hear my BlackBerry tell me I have a message and feel it vibrate...only to discover that it's not on me and is in the other room..

Too much is also when I "sense" a message and then get one a second later!

I think that it all depends on what you do,that decides if its to much or not, like if your blackberry is involved in your work and you need to be using it all the time and it makes your life much easier then its not to much.

I spend a lot of time with my trusty 8703e. Having just upgrading the OS 4.1 to OS 4.2, I spend a heck of a lot of time looking at all the neat new features.

Having admitted to my wife that I take my berry with me everywhere (including the washroom), you could say that I'm addicted.

Is there really a "too" much? Too much is trying to explain to the officer that you were only trying to keep up with the speed of your blackberry... honest officer!

I think your using your blackberry too much/ addicted when...you take it into the bathroom with you..and drop a deuce, and you damn near breakdown when it falls in the toilet. But when your dog died last week..you were to busy emailing to shed tears.

I guess 2 hours in my opinion is too much. That gives you enough time to do your talking and emails. More than that and you're probably one of those people using it during meetings or in the middle of conversations looking very annoying.

I use it to check email at work as personal email (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) is blocked. I also use it for text message - about 250 texts per month. Anything more than 2 hours would seem high for me, but it's a personal phone - I don't use it for business.
