When you start letting your personal hygiene go, it's time to spend less time on the BB and take a shower, brush and floss your teeth, and maybe gargle some mouthwash.

When it effects your life negatively (ie when you spend so much time on it that you miss the events happening around you.) It is like a job that you work so much at that you give up a part of your social life; that job is not good for you. The same with anything you do in life, including using a bb.

Well last month I went over on my data plan. I used about 15mb/10mb available and 700 minutes. Luckily I called Verizon to upgrade my plan befoe the overages. But wouldn't you know it, they messed up everything and charged me overages. Hopefully I will be able to call and get the charges removed since I had called earlier to upgrade but the customer service rep screwed up. We'll see.

I use my BB for business and personal fun. There is no such thing as "too much time" if your BB is providing the info you need as well as providing personal gratification.

Too much is when I'm in a room ten feet away from my wife and I send her a text or email to ask her a question.

I think too much Black Berry usage is when you choose to spend your evenings or the time you have off of work playing with your blackberry rather than spending time with your family.

Quite simply, as is the case with anything, you are using your BB too much when it negatively impacts your life. I think the primary example of that would be if the quality of your real-life relationships is diminished.

Too much is when you use google maps for the fun of it to see if the gps is correct for the front of the house and the back yard.

Also, when you read the news on your BB sitting on the couch instead of using the computer that is in the next room.

Too much blackberry usage can be viewed a couple of different ways. First is when people can't distinguish between when to and when not to use it. For example your in line a Disney and the nice person in front of you is glued to their crackberry and pretty much ignoring their family as they move forward in line.

Second option is when someone can't actually tell what their family looks like without looking at a picture on their blackberry because they are glued to it. I like mine but I also put it down, its tool not my life.

too much would be if you have an alarm but you use the blackberry as a alarm so that you can touch it first thing in the morning or you fall asleep with it in your hand at night and wake up with it in your hand.

I don't believe you can use it too much cause the battery would die. So you can't get to the too much part.

like i said in a previous post in the forum i easily go through 2 fully charged batteries on a daily basis. and theres been days where ive had to charge the original 1 so i step into the land of 3 batteries in 1 day. my crackberry is constantly in my hand doing everything and anything it will allow me to. (which so far seems nearly endless restrictions)

long live the blackberry and the crackberry users behind them!

I think if it doesn't involve your job, using it for more than 1-2 hrs a day is probably too much. Of course some days it can be more than others, like if you're bored waiting for an appointment or something then I say use away!
