seriuosly Im on my blackberry even when im sitting at my computer lol... I work on a helpdesk so i'm at a computer for about 6 hours of my 8 and my blackberry is still in my hands.
Too much is when I just had a conversation with my girlfriend and I'm like uh what were we just talking about.

I would say too much BB usage is when you can't stop checking email, texting, IMing, or surfing the web long enough to practice personal hygiene. Oh yeah, if you ignore your family for your BB you've definitely gone into the crackberry zone.

if using a blackberry a lot for things that need to get done, or things that you want to get done...then overusing it is impossible. if your thumbs lock up and your eyes fry out...then maybe a break would be neccessary. :P

I personally think, besides work and school, the blackberry shouldn't be used much, except for texting and maybe some goofing around.

I CONSTANTLY use my blackberry for work and school, its a computer for peets sake.

But outside of that, it should just be used as a regular phone, not a computer

I'm a first time bb owner. I love my phone! I use it for: three different email accounts, yahoo/aim/msn messengers,sms/mms msgs, to take pics, ny times, facebook, nyc weather, cb!, gps, games, music/videos, scheduling appts,horoscopes, time etc.

I use it for everything. This remarkable device replaces my pc, with the exception of editing microsoft word etc.

Is it too much for me? Nah. To me too much is when you use it instead of seeing/talking to people in person.That's when it's too much, no matter what you use it for.

What's the point of having a smart phone, if you only use it to receive and make phone calls? Don't be afraid to use it!or abuse it! Lol.

I'd say it gets to be too much when you won't head to the restroom w/out your blackberry(I've been there)! I'd say anything over 30-45 minutes a day, not including talking time, is probably excessive.
