I meant screen grabs.

There's a load of BB desktop screen grabs being posted and my question is, how did you do it? My avatar is a photo and its not as clear as a screen grab would be.

I use Pete6's CrackPic and CrackUtil. Both have screen shot capability. CrackUtil is linked in my sig.

Would it be safe (and possible) to install untested .jar applications using CrackUtil, or would it be wiser to recompile as .cod using the RIM JDK?

Sophos Anti-Virus says CrackUtil contains a virus known as Mal/Behav-053. I downloaded from the thread you linkied

I have not used CrackUtil in the way you describe, so I can't say.

I forwarded your virus message to Pete. Someone reported that same malware yesterday. Pete's trying to figure it out.
