Save text messages to sim or pc
Hello,
I normally find a solution on Google and I also found some this time. But they all didn't work. So do you know how to save text messages to sim? Or if that isn't possible how to save text messages to pc?
btw I have a BlackBerry curve 8520 (os 5) and running windows 7 x64
I tried:
1. Store SMS text messages on your SIM card
"Depending on your wireless service provider and the wireless network that your BlackBerry® device is connected to, this feature might not be supported."
I think that's why this method isn't working for me... btw: my sim is almost empty, I deleted everything except my contacts. Now I want all my messages on my Blackberry to my sim again.
All the things I tried with my backup file (blackberry desktop software)
1. I get a .bbb file instead of a .ipd file. I changed .bbb to .zip and than extracted it. Now I Got this .bat file and if I open it with notepad, excel or word and even more I get some messages but also allot of weird characters
2. Elcomsoft Blackberry Backup Explorer gives me an error "can't locate the .ipd file" if I try to open the .bbb file
3. Blackberry backup extractor, but I have to pay for that and I don't want to pay...
(4.) Maybe this is the only solution: I read some things about downgrading Blackberry desktop software so I do get a .ipd file. But I can't find an old version of Blackberry desktop software. Do you know where to download an old version?
so please, does anyone know how to do it? - 07-12-2012, 12:25 PM #2

and if you REALLY wanted it, you would pay for it.BIG UP BIG UP, ITS A STICK UP STICK UP
I may be blunt, but it was the only way you would understand! @Fubaz

I believe you can send a copy of your text messages to your email address.

You can easily forwaard on a text message via email, but the trick is to save the entire text string. I've tried to do that a number of times, but i have yet to find a way to do it.
Anybody solve that one?Blackberry Torch 9800

It's going to be a pain in the , but you could try to copy every single text messages and paste it manually in your mail.
