They're selling, because BlackBerry moving to Android is a sign that BB10 is dead. So, sell while they can still make some money off the phones. Jump ship while in shallow water.

Just checked by local kijiji. Why are there 40 iphones for sale for every BlackBerry. Doubt there is any more or less phones for sale than normal on CB.

I've bought a number of used Z10 phones. Caveat Emptor, obviously, but it's usually not difficult for me to decide who to trust on Ebay. That's what ratings are for.

I have often thought about that but for different reasons...doesn't everybody watch a little porn using their smartphones...I don't necessarily want someone's used up gooed up phone.

If you look at the devices for sale on this forum, you'll notice an overwhelming presence of PP's and Z30's.

I was just wondering why those phones in particular are going up for sale so frequently.

Many of us lived through playbook and got to see exactly what happens when Blackberry abandons a platform.. I suspect that most are bailing while they can still get some $ for the device.

I've bought 3 Q5s, 2 Z30s, 1 Q10, and 6 Z10s used and only 2 had issues. Also 1 9900, 3 9320s and 1 9810 used with no issues. BlackBerry makes great hardware plus superior software.

PlayBook was a one off. A bad strategic decision to build a "me too" tablet. A better example would be the support we've seen for BB07, which has been exceptional, IMO.
