Hey

Just got the bb and I love it

However I find that the ringtone plays really loud! I even went into options and changed ringtone volume to quiet. I still find it very loud.

Anyone else notice this?

You can always use a different tone that isn't was loud. Funny though cuz most people complain its not loud enough.

I was wondering which one you have. Mine is an 8830 and is too quiet even on the loudest setting. I use mine as an alarm clock

I'm whitcha, Jadis... I have an 8830, I like to use my cell as an alarm clock, but it is just TOO EFFING QUIET. I wish I could find a fix to pump up the volume, but so far, I've got nothin. =(

I agree. I have an 8220. It is nice sometimes but even on the lowest setting it makes you look like jacka** when you don't have it on vibrate cause it is so loud. Not appropriate in most situations so you can't even enjoy your tones. If someone gave a real solution to the problem, that would be awesome
