This sounds stupid, but I've tried everything I can think of.
I've searched Black and Crackberry to no avail.

How do you adjust the ringer volume on a 8310 Curve?

I try the volume adjustment and it goes mute.
I tried saving the ring tone in the Media section at a lower volume.
No luck.
Also, can you adjust the "in holster" volume separate from the "out of holster volume"?

Exactly -- then choose Low, Medium, High, & Escalating.

Yea there are 2 options for each profile for in and out of holster.

It is still loud though when you set it to low
