RIM resumes trading at 4:40 PM, rockets over $15 after beating expectations
Could it be after 15$ the investors and funds who bought it at 7$ decided to just sell off, since technically they would have gained a twofold return?
I mean stock exchange capitalism never ever is loyal to any company.

Buy the rumor sell the fact. Looks like a large holder wanted to take some profits after the beat.

The profit taking will kick in shortly before year end or shortly after the new year begins depending on tax implications. For those whom bought at the lowest point you have easily doubled and almost tripled your money at this point. If BlackBerry 10 is well-received in early 2013 the price might double again. And then I will be kicking myself. Ha! Ha!

Isn't it amusing how people who claim to not enjoy CB at all simply can't stay away????

It's the lack of details around the new tiered pricing, combined with Thor's warning that service revenues will be 'under pressure' next year as a result. Wall Street does not like ambiguity, and the stark announcement that there will be a tiered pricing structure for services with no further specifics is very ambiguous. I'm sure margins will take a hit, but I also think it's the right thing to do to ward off threats from low-priced Androids in the emerging markets where BB had been doing fairly well. I'm sure this has all been thought out, but I'm still surprised they chose to make the announcement in a way that will cause many more questions than they had answers for.

Nature of the beast.
You invest what you're willing to lose. I bought at $27.

Just bought 130 shares @ $10.82... I know, nothing too crazy, but it's the first time I have ever bought stock. Come on RIM, I have faith in you. Just put my money where my mouth is =$
