I am on Vodafone UK, and when I tried to setup new email account ... error msg came out, and said that I have reached max email account number...

I rang Vodafone, and both of us were agreed that it should allow for 10 email accounts... so the vodafone support rang the RIM support.... guess what... RIM tech support replied as ... it only allows max 3 email accounts ...

Can anyone confirm this? Coz I am not really believe what Vodafone told me...

    Thanks

    I'm in the U.S. & I have 5 plus my @att.blackberry.net account.

You may get a different response with a different customer service rep.

    Good Luck.

    BlackBerry Internet Service

Your BlackBerry smartphone allows you to send and receive email from up to 10 supported email accounts. Setup is simple. You can do it online at your computer, or right from your smartphone*.

I have 4 but I set them up before the switch to BIS 2.5. I also seem to remember that the BIS 2.5 specs said 'up to' 10 email accounts. Trouble is, I'm not completelt sure.

I would call your carrier again and tell them that you need more that 3 accounts and that other carriers have 10 cuz you have a mate who is with carrier X and he has 7 email address - or some such nonsense.

I use to have that many on my bb but got rid of all but two, work and bb email account. I do have 4 other email accounts for various reasons but I just have them setup to forward the email to my bb email account, more easy to manage.

Use GMail for your main mailbox, because they have great spam filters, then you don't need a "junk" mailbox.

I have several boxes too, like webmaster@, admin@, etc. that go to my BB to alert me when something is amiss on our Berrysoft websites.

I have had no problem setting them up (more than 3), and did so after the BIS 2.5 setup.

    Good luck

I am supposed to get ten as well, but they all are to read: [email protected]. So maybe it has to do with your service provider.
