I seem to be having an issue with not getting emails.
The emails show up to both my Webmail and Outlook clients so I know its not an issue with my provider filtering them.
I am not getting them to either of my RIM devices - my Playbook or my phone

    How to address this?

Verify the types of emails. Are they typically ones with attachments?
    From certain people?

Bottom line is try to find the common denominator. Did this ALWAYS happen or just started?

They are a very specific type.
I play an email based Poker game.
The emails do not have attachments and are in plain text format.
They have come in the past - but with the start of the new game they no longer arrive.
How do I contact RIM and advise them that these are not spam?

I don't think its rim. Have you tried to resend the service books?

I have no idea what you mean?

I get the emails in all other venues - just not on my Blackberry devices

So you are getting other emails using this same email account on the device? Or is this a separate account on the blackberry that only gets these emails?

    Sent from my flip-phone.

This just started the last week or so. I was getting them and they go to my standard account - like all my emails

If resending of the service books doesn't work, then add the FROM email address to your address book and then see what happens.

As far as I know RIM does not filter email through their NOC. For them to filter email would open them to legal liabilities and disgruntled clients.

FYI - folks I believe I have found the answer.

I thought I would post it in the event that somebody else runs into the same issue.

The problem was as simple as a filter rule I had set up on my Webmail account with Shaw. I had set it to move emails recieved pertaining to my email poker game to a sub folder called Poker.
Having moved them to a subfolder they were not getting synced with my Blackberry devices - that simple. I have removed the filter and now the emails are coming through to my devices - both my phone and Playbook.
