Had an odd problem I thought I'd share in case anyone else hits it.

Blackberry Link stopped being able to communicate with my Z10. It said it was connected, but could not communicate. The only thing I'd changed on my PC or my Z10 was that I'd run norton Power Eraser a couple of days ago. So I checked the logs from that and it said that it had removed a file called rikvm_9ec60124.sys. I googled this and the Norton and Microsoft forums both said it was related to a Cyberlink program (likely Power DVD) which didn't sound like it could be causing my problem. But I backed out the Power Eraser change (restoring this file) and rebooted, and hey presto! Link can communicate with my Z10 again. Maybe it was unrelated (although I'd rebooted and tried all the obvious stuff to no avail before restoring this file) but it seems a bit of a coincidence to say the least.

Anyway, like I said, problem is fixed now. Just wanted to save the info here in case anyone else hits this problem, or tries googling "rikvm_9ec60124.sys".

Yes the anti virus apps on the computer and BlackBerry Link doesn't seem to play well at all. I also have noticed that I have to disable them in order to actually get link to work. I thank you for the heads up.
