as described - opened sd card in OS file manager while connected in USB Mass storage mode, removed images
and afterwards, when opening a gallery on a phone - still see those images, but when opening or trying to delete - got an error message, saying that image does not exist. So I guess a thumbnail is still present somewhere, but I didn't find the location.
Any suggestions how to remove those thumbnails?
    Q5, 10.3.1.1779

BTW, isn't that a bug that should be reported?

    Thanks.

Try rebooting the device to force a re-index of everything.

reboot didn't help, however I've fixed it with a strange hack - I've uploaded a jpg file, with the name of the file that had been deleted, hoping that BB will let me remove it, if it sees that some file exists with a same name. However that caused those thumbnail to disappear, guess BB checked thumbs cache after uploading new file, or something similar happent.

Removing the mSD card, rebooting, then reinserting it does the trick too. It forces the thumbs Db to rebuild.

    This...

Had it a while ago, and on early versions of BB10 on my Q10. Rarely happens on the more capable Passport.... :-)
