    Hi all,

My company just got BlackBerrys. I was involved in the selection process which included my using an 8320 device for evaluation. When we got our real devices, I switched over to the new one, but I did not use the Switch Device Wizard. Now I have two devices showing up in various places on my laptop.

Can anyone tell me how to completely remove all traces of the old device from my laptop. I am using Windows XP and version 4.3.0.17 of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

    Thanks,
    Dave

Use Windows Control Panel to Uninstall the OS verison you are not using.

That should remove all the device files and registery entries that supported them.

Looking at the picture, I assume I am to look in the Add or Remove Programs applet in the Control Panel. In this list I see only one line for a BlackBerry device. So it does not look like there is one I am not using.

In the list I see only these 3 lines for BlackBerry...
    BlackBerry Desktop Software 4.3
BlackBerry S/MIME Support Package Version 4.1
BlackBerry v4.2.2 for the 8320 Series Wireless Handheld

    Am I missing something?

That would be true if I actually had two curves. What I have is one curve and one ghost that I can not get rid of from my desktop.
