Apple is American? I know the design team us in the US but the bulk of the money and workers are external are they not. So what constitutes an American company. I would have thought one that employs and keeps and invests most of their money in the country. Google is 1M times more American than Apple. The Apple slogan is designed in America while everything else is pretty much outside of America. Too bad they invest so little in what the call their home country.

Apple makes products in China because it's cheaper. Google makes it in the U.S because they can subsidize the product from all the money they make of ads, which is their main from of business.

If Apple made their overpriced products in the U.S I bet you they would charge way more.
