No problem. Good luck with the OTA. Some people have had trouble with it. If you need to, you can go to your provider's website, download and save a copy of your OS, install it to your pc, then you can use apploader to install bbm. Let me know via pm if you need help doing this.

Ok, just for clarification: I did not lose the application while attempting to up/downgrade the OS. I deleted it because I didn't think I would use it, but now I think I might. I don't see it in app loader via desktop manager, so what do I do now? Sorry about all this!
Question: Did you delete from the phone or from the JAVA folder
in the OS? If the latter is the case simply reinstall your OS, remove
whatever you don't need or wish to use and leave BBM in place.
If it's not in the App Loader listing, you'll have to reinstall your OS to get it back, as someone said above. The OTA download doesn't work for OS4.2 and later because Messenger is included in the OS in those versions. You shouldn't have to downgrade your OS, just reinstall it and run thru the optimization process again to take out the stuff you don't want and leave in BBMessenger.
