Don't delete the app. Not necessary.

Hopefully Jaydee will chime in here soon with the fix that was posted in another thread.

I can't seem to find that thread at the moment but, when I do I'll post the link to it here unless someone beats me to it.

    Hang tight!

Go to Advanced Settings in the Home Screen Plus app and toggle OFF the low memory warning. This should fix your issue.

Thanks to Jaydee5799 for posting this in the comments section of the recent Crackberry article regarding Home Screen Plus.
I'm just copy and pasting to pass this along.

    Edit: clarity.

Yep, I get it, too, every now and then. But I keep 50+ browser tabs open.... :-)

I know you're just a messenger, but that seems to simply hide the issue, not fix it. I've never heard of BlackBerry 10 requesting apps to free up resources before

The "best" part is that I have never seen this notification actually provide the correct values. 450 out of 3000 is 6% now? Riiight...

H.S.Plus is the only headless app that I used (and I really like it too!) that still keeps closing itself even after all these updates. Blocking the notification from appearing is not a "fix", it just means you have to manually check if it is still updating correctly all the time.

You can go into App Manager and Clear the Cache on certain Apps that use your memory.

I'll willingly admit I have not used this app enough yet to know whether this is a proper fix or a band aid as I have yet to see this warning myself.

It was my understanding that the warning was produced due to this portion of the app gathering incorrect numbers/data.

I personally have yet to have an issue with this app over using resources and closing however, the app and my phone rarely agree on RAM usage in general.

Yep, BB10 can send low memory signals to Apps, and force close them if they have a low priority, headless Apps don't get much allocated RAM so you'll find a lot of headless Apps are doing this

I've never used the app in question, but the "fix" suggested was to turn off the warning, the problem is still there but the app will no longer tell you about it.

Back when I still play around with BlackBerry 10 SDK, I've never read any documentation claiming that BlackBerry 10 might ask apps to free up resources, even in the best practices documentation, then again it was back in 10.2 days, so maybe that's a new feature in 10.3

The app is the one deciding to turn off the headless part, not the OS. And it should turn it back on five minutes later if the measured RAM usage is better. Just something the Developer chose to make sure his app doesn't run into memory issues I guess?

But the % never adds up, saying there is <5% when you can clearly see from the numbers it shows, that it's more like ~15%.

I've repeatedly reported this, but I think the Dev just can't explain where these values come from. Tht's the part that might be an OS issue, because BB10 is awful at handling and/or reporting memory usage (see my other thread on the Device Monitor).

It was free but I missed the offer so I bought it. The stock item for EURUSD=x & USDEUR=x displays wrong with overlap.... website for developer is gone & no email shown... I feel cheated & ignored except, of course, for the money collection...
