    Default Reboot without battery pull?

Is there a way to do a full reboot with my BlackBerry without having to do a battery pull?

I do a full turn off but then when I go to turn my BlackBerry back on it turns on pretty much instantly.

I only ask because after having my phone on for a few weeks it seems to slow down. The hourglass appears much more, etc.

    I have a Bold 9900 running 7.1

Yes. You can download quickpull from the app world and that will do it. Or you cam do the three finger salute

Alt+Right Shift+ Delete at the same time if I recall correctly. Someone correct me if wrong since I am touchscren now.

I purchased "DeLight Reset" from app world for I think 99 cents and it works great! Understand that if the phone freezes and nothing on the touch screen works, then you will still have to do a battery pull (and you should do one at least once a week just to jog the system), but to just reboot your phone, this is a great app. I like this one because it got great reviews and it works well, but there are a lot of them on there. Check it out on App World. Worth the money!

Just saying but apps for resetting the phone are a waste of money because you can just do it yourself by holding alt+right shift+delete.

True but an app that does it while you are asleep is very useful because it does it while you are dreaming of sheep (or whatever normal people dream of :P)

Get quickpull, set it to automatically reboot your device every night while you sleep, you wake up with your BB refreshed and running quick and you're set for the day. Quickpull is free and works great.

I was so happy when I found out about the "Alt+Right Shift+ Delete" short cut

    Good tip, thanks.

Anyone with a bold knows how hard it is to get the back cover off. I've resorted to using my pants zipper, which is a little awkward at times to say the least

I would not recommend using an app to do a soft reset. The 9900 reboots quickly anyway, so alt + right shift + del will accomplish the same thing.

Alt+right shift + del works great.

for an app, I downloaded a free app called "RestartMe" from app world.

    Good luck

Have we become so lazy and dependent to even put our fingers down, for a mere reset do we really need an app.? Wake up, press Alt+Right Shift+ Delete. The works.

The "three finger salute" doesn't work with all BB devices: us Pearl, Storm and Torch 9850/60 owners are left out in the cold when it comes to that. We need an app for that!

    Thank you Steelthorn for QuickPull!
You laugh at me because I'm different. I laugh at you because you're all the same!

It actually doesn't always work with my 9700 either.
