    Default Realistic article about rim

The Smartphone Market Is Too Big for Apple and Samsung - AAPL, GOOG, NOK, RIMM - Foolish Blogging Network This article looks to the future and shows a very viable rim in the near future with realistic expectations. What do you guys think???

Hedging....pun intended. Good to see the outpouring of love all of a sudden though.
I am getting a huge kick out of all the "analysts" scampering to throw something out there to point at in a few short years and say..."see, I foresaw this rise".

They had a smaller market share of a much bigger pie. Sold they sold more phones, but went down in market share.
    all smartphones are tools.
android = 48pc tool set (you"ll eventually find the tool you need, but some assembly required)
iphone = swiss army knife (most of the tools you need in a small, simple to use package)
blackberry = adjustable wrench (sometimes all you need is a wrench)
windows phone = bionic wrench (its different....but it works)

Completely possible outcome for rim in my opinion. Not a bad one either. Rim has stated time and time again they have an uphill battle and they are starting with 3rd then moving to 2nd and eventually 1st. They have strong goals but possible ones at the same time. It will be a long slow battle but rim isnt going away anytime soon. There are too many people that prefer to be different which makes it really hard to stay on top forever. I am retardedly excited for Jan. 30th. CANT WAIT!!!

Thanks for posting the article! It's good to see discussion of BB10 going on outside of the tech journals and blogs. And some of the comments are GREAT.

I thought that was interesting too. However, BB10 won't have any market share as a smart phone. RIM will be all alone in the super phone market.

Que the Rocky music! I can see RIM in round 1 after Jan 30th entering the ring as a shredded exchamp ready to tear down Mr,T and Hulk Hogan!
    Go RIM, BB10 Believe it!
Seriously though, this article is right on point!
