Hello!
I am a proud owner of Q10 for about 4 months now. I upgraded my 9300 because I had an issue with the keyboard. Unfortunately, I'm experiencing similar problem with Q10. That is, annoying random dots appear when I type. Any words of advice?

I believe this happens with double space. Here how to fix.
Go to settings > language and input > prediction and correction > period short cut set it off.

I don't double space though, definitely.

Doesn't happen in my Z30, just the Q10.

It's one of the manifestations of the double typing problem that some Q10 phones experience. It just means that the space bar double types, and the result is the period. I have it too on occasion, a slightly harder press on the space bar will cause this. If your phone does this a lot, get the keyboard replaced.
